Event: Control of Movement and Active Ageing Open Day

Are you interested in learning about the control of movement and the ability to remain active in older age? We would like to invite you to an open day at the School of Sports Exercise and Rehabilitation Sciences on Tuesday the 21 of June 2016 from 10:20am (registration opens at 9:30am) to 3:30pm. The day will consist of a morning session of talks discussing topics such as staying fit in old age, maintaining balance and overcoming the effects of falls. The afternoon will consist of a range of practical sessions including practical demonstrations of ongoing studies, focus groups into new studies as well as a demonstration by Move It or Lose It showing that exercise has no age limits.

While this event is open and free, the total number of attendees is limited. Please register your interest to ensure a space and allow for adequate catering. Please also inform us should you have any specific dietary requirements or other queries.
