Tai Chi has been documented to give beneficial effect to its practitioner especially in cardiovascular health. However, the effect of Tai Chi has been observed to differ among various range group which includes, age and health status. Therefore in this study, we would like to predict the effectiveness of Tai Chi among young and older group by looking at its acute effect on vascular health.

We are looking for participants, aged 65-75 years old, with no history of cardiovascular diseases, not smoking, independent living and less active.

The study will involve two lab visits, and we will be measuring vascular health using ultrasound technique and other health parameters. In one of the lab, participants will experience one hour of Tai Chi exercise (one to one) from a certified instructor.
