Walkability for older citizens in Birmingham City Centre

This study seeks to identify issues that discourage older people from walking in City Centre locations and to discuss what could be done to improve and promote City Centres especially for older people.

Individuals aged 65 and above, who are able to walk independently, and who have some experience of walking in and around Birmingham City Centre, are sought to take part in an short interview lasting 40 to 60 minutes at the University of Birmingham or similar mutually agreed venue.

There is a small incentive for those who take part in the research; this is a £20 voucher to spend in a high street shops or a supermarket.
